GSTR3B NEW Process, The Finance Ministry has now allowed to file GSTR-3B returns in a staggered manner, the Government has decided to ease the process for trade and industries after taking the hassle of return filing into account. Thus the introduced different measures vide Notification No. 072020 – Central Tax dated 3rd February, 2020 .

Every taxpayer used to have a deadline of the 20th of every month to file GSTR-3B earlier. But, from now on, According to this notification Form GSTR3B will be filed in below mentioned staggered manner…

To reducing the Load on the GSTN, Government has divided the taxpayers in two category,
Category 1: Turnover 5 Cr and above
Category 2: Turnover less than 5 Cr (Two subcategories)

The last date for filing of GSTR-3B for the taxpayers having annual turnover of Rs 5 crore and above in the previous financial year would be 20th of the month.
Thus, around 8 lakh regular taxpayers would have the last date of GSTR-3B filing as 20th of every month without late fees.

And The taxpayers having annual turnover below Rs 5 crore in previous financial year are divided further in two categories. GSTR3B NEW Process


States Turnover above 5 cr      Turnover less than 5 cr
States of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana or Andhra Pradesh or the Union territories of Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep The due date to file GSTR-3B returns is 20th of every month 22nd of every month
taxpayers whose principal place of business is in the States of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Assam, West Bengal, Jharkhand or Odisha or the Union territories of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Chandigarh and Delhi The due date to file GSTR-3B returns is 20th of every month 24th of every month
